When the update happens you will know because these types of threads will turn into "when is gingerbread comming out?". Until then, just be patient your phone will tell you when it is ready, after all it is an evo

He checked, and told me that they were told yesterday that the release had been delayed. He said that it didn't give a date, or reason. IF he is correct, it looks like we may have to wait a little longer. Maybe he was wrong, or the Website people didn't get the update and posted the 7/30 message on the website as scheduled.

I'd love for it to just happen period, doesn't matter to me when. I'll still be eating sketti for supper tonight, watching Scrubs at 1am, and enjoying my weekend no more/less regardless of date. I enjoy my Evo just fine already anyways, after all it's just a phone ;)

*checks for update manually, smh* So yea, it's just a phone LOL

There is nothing wrong with a person owning a iphone and being a Sprint EVO 4G tester. Its the same as me owning a Hyundai and working at the Ford Motor Co. Not every car in the parking lot is gonna be a Ford.

Besides that, being that nothing new has been added to this thread that the other one didn't have already, I am also closing this one down.
