Are replacing their iPod with their EVO? I know for one that using doubletwist, and buying a bigger microSD card I can now get rid of my iPod if I want to. I have the 32gb touch, so I'm beginning to wonder if it's worth it to keep it around? Thoughts?
Keep it. The Evo won't touch the iPhone/iPod in pure sound quality and Android certainly has a way to go before it's even decent at music management.
...it makes no sense that F500 companies don't have Android apps yet.
Heh. I have to admit I was really happy when the Slingplayer showed up (and having already bought it for the Treo a while back, prepared for the $30! price tag) but the more, the merrier!Trust me when I say that one of the best retail apps is coming to Android Nov.
I can't tell a difference, seriously. The iPod has better sound quality.
... those of us who want to hear what we want to?!Who manually plays music?
I can't tell a difference, seriously.
Most of my music is "iTunes Plus" (i.e., Steve came up with another way to squeeze our nads for more $$), and I really can't tell a difference.
... those of us who want to hear what we want to?!
FWIW, I only listen the same way on both devices- via my Jabra Halo BT headset. In the car you won't be able to
"Highly-Targeted Radio FTW!"Streaming FTW.
I know for sure MixZing does this, and IIRC DoubleTwist (and I swear the stock app) does, too. Try swiping the Album Art.would it kill them to throw some coverflow our way?

Coverflow was so slow in my experience that I never used it, and if you're really looking for a song coverflow was the worst way to find it... It looks great I agree, but when it comes to music it adds nothing new... Bloatware...
