So I Got The Droid X!

awesome!! i love this phone its the hottest phone ive had in years! thanks for the feedback here i posted a few times asking what i should get, but this is awesome!

i'm checking out some tips and tricks for it so far see what i can do but ive been playing with the phone the whole thanksgiving weekend.
 
wow tell me about it.. the members here helped me out which was awesome! you guys werent lying phone is great.. but quick question is there a post that has tips to save battery?

i think using the social network app and haveing Facebook Twitter active as well and news feed widget weather widget would eat up the battery faster correct?
 
I too just switched over to the x after much consideration of what phone to get and after destroying my eris :P I loved it when I got it but man this x blows everything else I've used out of the water. My eris I couldn't text more than one person and when I got a text my phone would freeze. Now I'm multi tasking and texting three to four people at a time.
 
yeah man im so amazed at this phone its still hitting me and i didnt want to do an iphone. i left the blackberry 8330 so this is a huge step up fro me. so im still getting used to this phone

LOL thats what I had before the Droid X.Did you have the silver one too?
 
I just grabbed up an X over the weekend (insane price at Target). This is my second device, since I came from the original Droid.

I have used Palm, Windows and now Android. Hands down the Android is the best OS I have ever used. The X is the best of the two droids I have owned.

It's feel, look and function surpass the droid. Very happy and definitely suggest to anyone who wants one...
 
It has been three months of ownership for me and the novelty still hasn't worn off. I love reading posts of people riding cloud 9 with their X, I felt the same way (and still do).
 
if you love it now, try rooting it throwing on a custom rom/theme, getting rid of bloatware and overclocking my phone is a beast!!! you can accomplish all this by going into the tips and trick section and reading the how to's thats what i did and i couldnt be ANY happier(except for the doofy styling of the phone but i can get over that lol)

droid x guts with the olympus/etna hardware man id be in android heaven
