So... I think my Moto X Pure has already been assembled...

I see others with Clearance delays as well. I didn't have any such problems; 3 days from order to delivery. I wonder why some phones are being delivered so quickly and others experience delays and problems...? Motorola clearly did not anticipate such issues otherwise they would have built the delays into the estimated delivery timelines (at least I hope they would have).

This newest delay is because the paperwork from the factory doesn't have the proper value on it. And apparently there's some holiday in China on Monday, so nothing is going to get sorted out until at least Tuesday. My phone is currently over Japan, so I'm hoping that these people at the factory filled that paperwork out correctly. I've never ordered a phone from Moto like this before, but this is a complete cluster eff.

I know it is just a delay and will be here next week which is still a week earlier than originally estimated so I will take a deep breath now and calm down… and repeat.

The Mid-Autumn Festival...mooncakes and wine!! ...basically a Chinese thanksgiving! ...and some places might close for the whole week, because it's also National Day on 1st October, Thursday.

Thanks for the info. I saw on another site that there's a holiday, but it didn't specify which or that there is two. I'm really glad my phone got out when it did, then. lol Enjoy your holidays. And what's a mooncake?

Having a great time, wish you were here. :D

My XPE order (that should have been cancelled) was just delivered. Hopefully FedEx trucks are right now overweight with XPEs and you all should be receiving your phones today.

In a Chat session with Motorola right now to return this order... I swear, the length of time between responses, he must be on the moon... or trying to service several customers at once through several Chat sessions. .

I should have been a doctor, because, boy... do I need patience!

I have a feeling Moto was overwhelmed by the number of orders they received for the Pure. It also seems like their order tracker does not get updated in any organized fashion. I think when you receive your phone has a lot to do with the options you chose in MotoMaker.

I can't believe it! I'm more excited than when I saw my first episode of Batman as a kid, or realized that you get free stuff for Christmas. My phone is scheduled to come a full six days early, and I can't wait!
I cannot believe what a total nerd I have turned into. Really quite shameful. Oh, the delicious humiliation

UPDATE: ESCAPE FROM MEMPHIS.PART 1: DELIVERANCE

Apparently, our shipment of phones, (Myself and 1000 other people) was released form the Memphis hell-hole, due to the heroic efforts of our mighty mail carrier, FEDEX.

Estimated date of my arrival, for this new acquisition, which promises I'll lose weight, become handsomer, and make lots of cool new friends, is tomorrow by 10:30 AM.
God bless America.

Now playing in theaters - MOTO X: Escape from Memphis

:p :D

If you think you're geeking out now, wait until the box shows up this morning. Savor every moment opening that beautiful blue & white box and giving your new baby first light when you press the power button. From the moment you hit the boot screen, it's a sheer joy! :)

wow. This new phone, is a high-tech weapon of multiplatform functionality. I was able to totally customize the entire phone in under 5 min., custom sounds, custom wallpaper, custom notifications, and I don't notice any real bloatware problem, with my only concern now, being able to make the three little dots, that appear on my home screen, above the acts drawer, disappear. I like totally transparent all-black screen, all black buttons, and all black widgets. Anybody happening into my phone, which would be remote anyway, would not be able to really find anything they were looking for, because all the buttons are visible.

Now I just need to make those three little dots, above the App widget drawer, using nova launcher, disappear.
I was also told, that I could save battery life, by reducing the screen resolution. However I cannot see an option in the display section of settings to do that.

Having said that, the phone is insanely fast, and whatever interface they are using for the speech to text, appears to be faster and more accurate as well. The thing feels great in my hand, hardly different from my Samsung s3 except that the screen is huge compared to the Samsung.

I'm now in the process of navigating the world of Moto voice commands, and trying to find a way to get rid of these little dots.
Other than that this phone is absolutely awesome.

God bless America.
I should probably say God bless Fuitan Island in China, and the workers who put this together. They ever get any accolades or praise? Or doesn't always go to the execs. We should find a way to send them a letter of thanks, to the workers on the floor, who assemble these things.

Anyway, just my idea promote global harmony, and sing around of kumbaya.

Those dots indicate which homescreen you're on. I don't use Nova Launcher... I use Apex Pro. It has dots with the homescreen I'm on in bold. I'm willing to bet that, unless there's a Nova setting to eliminate the homepage indicators (Apex DOES), you will have to reduce your homescreens to ONE.

And hope there isn't the one dot there. You might want to contact the Nova developer for guidance.

If you are talking about what I think you are talking about. Go under Nova Settings > Desktop > Page Indicator > Select - None. Hope this helped.
