Root so much epic

Cool. I've been looking a couple days for something to optimize my sql db's.

This should speed up SMS/MMS if you have 1000's saved and never delete them
 
Yeah, but what about this?.....

* The various tweaks can cause issue and problems if runned on a stock kernel. (just avoid kernel, misc and tools tab)

I was just piggybacking off your response to "can we use all the options with no issues" where you responded "yup". When in fact the developer stated the opposite.
 
I believe that was designed for a specific phone.evrtything does work for that phone.
Some things may cause issues for different phones.
 
Finally getting around to looking at the app now. I'm looking at trying a few of these (after backing up of course)

  • disable media scanner
  • increase jpeg quality to 100%
  • increase photo/video recording quality
  • enable xloud
  • audio volume hack
  • gps configuration
  • disable usb debugging icon (yay)
  • disable bootanimation for faster boot
  • sql optimize
  • extreme lowermemorykiller
  • enable 270 degree rotation (for fun maybe? hehe)


I'm skeptical of these


  • overall audio quality improve
  • increase lte/evdo/edge net speed (really?? :))


Anyone have good results to report?

Lol, I was puzzled as to what he meant at first too, but if you look at the quote in his post, he edited the quote to give some reviews of some of the settings.

Ah, I didn't notice that you edited my comment (misquoting me?). If you unquoted it, and erased the untested parts, then I would have noticed immediately. Thanks for the info! :D

Lol I tried my hardest to rework your post, but dyslexia got in the way of that. ><

Here are a few more scripts from AndroidTweaker. I simply extracted the files and gave them better file names (no other modifications).

Warning: I have not tested these

  • Strict Min Free - Adjusts the memory levels at which background apps will be closed.
  • Extreme Low Memory Killer - Makes similar adjustments as Strict Min Free, and a few extra adjustments to memory handling.
  • Disable Normalize Sleeper - I don't know exactly what this is supposed to do. It appears to try to improve battery life.
