in my drug class in college, (years ago) our teacher expressed that nicotine was as addictive as cocaine (or one of the most addictive hard drugs)....its been awhile.
i chew and quit for 3 months once, lost a job and went back. that was back in 2001 after the 9/11 attacks.
my mother is one of the toughest people i know, she says quitting smoking is the hardest thing she has ever done. believe me, thats saying a lot.
i tried chantex, it made me aggressive. but my personality is a little that way naturally. the dreams were awesome though. a guy at work who has smoke a long time used chantex and he quit. he is laid back by nature.
the gum helps a lot. tucking it in the lip next to your gums helps as well. it prolongs the exposure to nictone, helps not get to much at once, and gets it in your system faster.
i wish you the best man, i know its hard. i think its like someone i know told me. this guy smoked and chewed. he said you'll quit when you are ready. (lets hope thats before the cancer).
so be ready.
ps. sure you know; 3 days the chemical is out, after that its in your head....not that that makes it easier.
God bless.
