I guess a typed 'thanks' is nicer than a clicked button anyway, so thanks :) It was just that I think people were aware that they had a thanks count.

This pioneering is fun yes. But it has come at a really bad time for me. I shouldn't be on AF right now. I've got a novel to be writing for NaNoWriMo and I'm behind my word count target.
AF is addictive, especially when there is something exciting like this that everybody is experiencing simultaneously.

The like button is the thanks now. If you look at your old thanks amount, it is the same as your likes now, at least mine is.
 
Ah, stumbled across the Lounge (I'm sure it wasn't here earlier ?!?). It's a bit like moving to a new town when you didn't want to leave your old one. Strange, odd, and to a certain extent resented at first, but I'm getting used to it. So far I've narrowed down my actual dislikes, rather than just changes I have to get used to to the bigger ads, and the highly unflattering font I'm typing in and how it is the same once posted. I've change my Avatar to one where I'm in the stocks at Bodmin Jail in Cornwall, UK. (I was about to be pelted with a wet sponge by my children, all in the name of "fun"- I was soaked).

Well so far It doesn't feel quite like home yet, but I'll get used to it.
 
First post on the new forum, and i noticed that my avatar was replaced by a very old one. I like the new look a lot.
Thanks to the hardworking crew that made this possible.

I'm on my Nexus 5, the new forum is terrific!

Bugs:
1) No Thanks Button
2) No Report Button
3) No Signature

Can't force into Desktop mode, no matter if I'm using:
A) Chrome browser
B) Firefox
C) Boat
D) Maxthon
E) Opera
F) Dolphin
G) UC

Some people are seeing Report and Edit, others aren't. They are working on it.
Signatures didn't transfer. You can make a new one in your profile but they are currently very limited - no links and only two lines. Hopefully they will return some signature options.
Apparently there is no desktop version,

The like is the thanks button. The old likes button is gone. When people like your posts your likes goes up which is your old thanks number.

And not the same as on a pc, that's the complaint. Phandroid has been this way for quite a while.

As mentioned above, please let us know in the bugs thread what's wrong, include your browser name and whether phone or desktop - and a link to where the devs can see the problem.

Or if staff wants to move posts over, that's fine, be sure to let folks know if you move their posts.

If you're writing Phases to get attention to your issue, you're likely not going to hear from him for a bit - he's getting swamped by thanks, congrats and change requests.

We're watching the bugs thread. ;) :)

Personally I don't like it one bit. Nothing wrong with the old forum layout.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Everything was easy to find with old forum, this is just a mess.
Thanks for all the help I received in old forum. Will look at it again in a few days.

You have no idea the pains admin and devs went through so that the members didn't know it was broke. It was broke, it was very broke.
 
Still cannot quote anyone. When clicking the quote button it turns to multi-quote and still can't use it to post, this was designed but a very imaginative person with more humor than skill. :)

I know all devs work like trojans to keep all forums running, and I thank them for their efforts on our behalf. I just found it easier on the old forum, thats all. I found this reply box easily enough, so can't be all bad. :)
