soft reset

[h9211092]

Are there any programs which can reboot (soft reset) my HTC Hero with a just click? There are a lot of launchers for Windows Mobile which allow us to reboot the phone easily. It would be great if we can do that in Android too. Thanks in advance!

There are at least three (search Market for "reboot") but all require root access.

Thank you for the reply. Installed "Quick Boot" but requires root access as you said. Would be great if there's an app that doesn't need root access. Thanks anyway!

Unlikely due to Android's Linux-based roots. To request a system restart an app needs more than mere 'user' permissions.
