Wish I could hurry up and get ICS as well

Mines still on .62 and on 3 network... Tried PC companion and nothing even tried doing a repair and nothing from that either

Anyone with any more signs of .73 update? My battery life is killing it for me - at this rate I'll have to go back to my iP4..

Been looking at flashing .73 from another region - apparently it'd be fine - has anyone got any recommendations?

i dont know much about flashing etc but solved my battery prob by switching to just one network mode rather than dual

I flashed mine to CET Generic yesterday - massive improvement in battery performance and so far no side effects..

As a new user I can't post links, but you can find all the latest .73 firmwares in the xperia s section, I flashed the Singapore generic .73 a couple of weeks ago and it is a massive improvement in battery life over .67. I just wished sony would pull their finger out and release .73 generic for the uk.

Sorry forgot to put in xperia s section of xda my bad, but there are also a few european generic ones there to and apparently the norwegian one is supposed to be very good to, I might try that one myself over the weekend

If you have a sim free unit then the update will be sim free, your phone won't get locked

ICS is not out yet for the sxs, don't worry if you have a sim free handset it will stay sim free even after using flashtool to flash different region frimwares.
