Software Update! MS77010d (30.39MB)

I run speed tests regularly and I saw a 2-3 mbs increase after updating this morning.

Usually my speeds aren't in the 5-7mbs range during the day (normally 1.5-2.5), sometimes at night I would hit 3.5 but it was rare.

It very well could be a coincidence but I'll take it.
 
I asked this around 9:00am but no one has said anything so I'll ask again
Does this remove hotspot or is it still available?

Ha ha this is funny (not being insensitive to your irritation ) .

The stock LG Motions like mine and yours running MS77010c @ 1.5 Ghz.

are almost like LG ROOTED them because they are overclocked in a good way.

According to LG this update enables cradle charging and another type of factory reset-not a major upgrade in Software....but that was a customer service rep...
 
Hotspot is there and still works. The update took me about 5 min and my phone is rooted. I have seen no speed difference at all after update. The only thing is like what others said the 2 new apps and that's it. Wasn't expecting to much more when it was only 30.39 mb, probably the sizes of the apps.

lg doesn't have this update listed and i dont think anyone knows what it doses. that cradle charge makes no sense what the he11 is that. i goggled it and came up empty unless he was talking about a cradle charger but he said it was a system reboot.so unless i am missing something it seems a lot of people are talking out there a$$.

My phone is rooted and I tried to update and got a message saying "your phone is suspected in rooting. Rooted phones not supported"


So far I can't see any reason to unroot, update, root for nothing?
 
Can somebody post the software update.apk ....i deleted it thinking we would never receive an update (it runs in the background as well)... thanks in advance

I would help you by posting mine but i cant seem to find it. Im searching in /system/app
 
i am also rooted and it will not update "receiving the error message"

Would a factory restore unroot the device and allow the update to process?
