Please take this as a follow-up/explanations to some of your troubles and not a defence as I can clearly see this is just not the phone for you.
With any HTC phone's, there are three steps to 100% "unlocking". First is unlocking the bootloader (to install 4EXT recovery (awesome recovery btw!)), the second is rooting the phone (we all know this process), and the third that is HTC-specific is what is called S-OFF. This is special because HTC in their phones have set a security flag that basically prevents ROM's being flashed with a kernel in 1 packaged. Some however can be flashed in this form via 4EXT's "smart flash". However, this is the process that you were referring to with the paperclip. Basically that is a way of booting the phone a special way so that something called the "HBOOT" (something HTC specific) can be replaced by a custom HBOOT which is the only way to turn off the S flag that is present. The reason this method is the only way that works is because the EVO V 4g (shooter ICS VM) comes with an HBOOT version that does not work with revolutionary.
In a nutshell, HTC phone's are not friendly with ROM's.
Ok, now onto another more important (imo) subject...
I received my phone back from the mail quite a while ago and i was told from the person who bought my warp that he was having a problem with text messages. I'm not sure HOW this happened because I contacted boost, wiped ALL account info, reset ALL the software, i ran the update tool by zte AT LEAST 10 times if not more to make ABSOLUTELY sure, un-registered the phone so that it comes up with the "hands free activation" again.. I can't figure out why this is happening and im not sure what to do about it :/

LOL $100.00 dollars is why to much for a used shipped around the states and returned broken Warp when you can get a Brand new one right from Boost for $129.00. Why not just keep it at that price and use it as a dedicated Mp3 player and video player that you can use and abuse without worrying about its appearance and safety I was going to give mine away when I upgrade but have decided to do just that jam 64gbs of just music,video,and audio books in it and not handle it like its glass and abuse it like my old ipod.
