Root Solution to oc and glitchy screen.

I know so r u able to fix the issue of it staying on smartassv2. So I can put it ondemand??
Thats kinda hard to do since you are the only one having this issue. I have tried several diff ones, and have Android Overclock installed too with its widget on the home screen and I can switch governors out at will.

I fixed it I just reflashed the rom. I think soon I'm going to start from scracth. Reinstall stock with lgnpst. Then reflash ur rom. And do a nandroid backup of stock rom. And see if that fixes the phone glitches etc.

it wont as anything it would do would get formatted. Best way to try and get rid of small glitches like that is to boot into CWM and format everything but the sdcard and then flash the ROM, gapps etc again.

I have the same issue with the glitchy screen and can't seem to fix it.

Im sorry to bring up an old thread but has anyone found a definite fix for this issue?

I've tried reflashing Roms (wiping everyhting but SD card), increasing the minimum CPU speed, turning off animations, changing the governor .. happening on both Reppard and Playfulgod's latest ROMs (and the kernals that are included in these ROMs).

If I want to overclock the phone, only r.O.C.K-v0.3-AnyROM kernal resolves the glitches, but even after using the battery calibration app, I have significant battery loss.

Any help is appreciated..

do you unplug the phone before you calibrate? i know it says "calibrate then unplug" but you get the best results if you unplug for a few seconds and then calibrate. Thats what ive noticed.
