Root SOLVED - Gold Card help

Hi guys,

Ive been reading up on the guides in preparation to root my desire and I was going to make a gold card but it seems no matter which option I select in the tool it wont get the CID - I've followed the instructions but nothing at all.

EDIT - dont worry I solved this - I didn't realise it only works after rooting.

From the log bit it says:

you shouldnt have to be rooted to get the cid
you can download a tool called cid helper or do the fastboot oem boot method
