Root [Solved] How to Root Micromax Superfone lite A75

@sam and @varun
are you guys serious? how can these ppl install recovery made for a70 on there a75 --i know that for recovery version of os does not matter but while compling a recovery for device the recovery is always device specific
if they install a70 recovery they will not be able to recover thee lost recovery back :D

one more thing if rooting was so easy there was no need for so much long process to root xperia x10 2.3.3 update... you can find the instructions here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=711907

note these are only for x10 do not even try on a75 i just specified it ...

I am also planning to root my new (3 weeks) Micromax A75. But I do not have the USB drivers for this phone. Earlier, I was using LG Optimus One, in which case, the drivers were installed along with LG's PC Suite. I am unable to find a driver / PC Suite for Micromax A75 from their website.

Could someone provide me with the links for the same?

Thanks in advance.........

Install superoneclick and check for drivers. It will autoinstall drivers

@samroxx
If RZS works then CWM will also work :p .You just cant install recovery of any phone !
You will need base kernel address and the page size of A75 to port any recovery !

@others

What kind of update binary does your stock recovery use ?
Probably thats why you cant root via stock recovery is you are using a wrong binary .

Sam is probably using Op One or MTD
The stock SU binary is MTD
We use Samsung and EMMC depending on the need .

If you guys can get either get/upload
the update binary or a blank update.zip for your recovery
OR
the boot.img of your phone

Then only the phone can be rooted .
Else google is pretty good at patching the exploits .;)(rageagainstthecage,psneuter,gingerbreak and zergrush are all useless I presume )

The usb drivers for the micromax A75 are available, though the company provides it only on request. I contacted micromax through 'contact us' on micromaxinfo.com they sent me usb drivers on my email id within 48 hours and it works great.

Can you please share the drivers...

Can you please share the drivers...

You can connect your Micromax A75 handset with Windows 7 and windows Vista PC without installing any drivers for two features of the handset.

1) Disk drive (To access your SD card in PC)
2) USB Tethering (To share your phone internet on PC)

You can connect your Micromax A75 handset with Windows XP operating system after updating the attached drivers for above mentioned two features.

Run the XML Parser first then update the attached driver.View attachment Attachments_2012_01_22.zip
