Can you flash this in twrp?

You use root file manager and then place in the location given in the OP. Set permussion to 644 then reboot.
EDIT: Make a backup or rename " .bak "
You can also download RomToolBox fron the play store. It has an auto boot animation installer in it but you have to set the install location first

If you put them in /data/local it will override all the other locations.
Also, there was already a boot animation thread. :p

I'm trying to modify the Marshmallow animation to fit our resolution. Every time I change the resolution in the desc it doesn't work at all. If I try to remake it, it either doesn't work, or doesn't move past the looping section. I don't see anything special in the desc other then it uses c instead of p in the part definitions, but if I use c it doesn't work so what's the deal?

EDIT: I got it...setting c instead of p makes it finish the animation cycle regardless of if the phone has finished booting. So by setting c on the middle looping part and the subsequent sections forces the whole animation to play (it should be noted that this does not work on shutdown animations). As for why it wasn't working, I guess Windows was messing with the compression when I extracted and replaced the desc file. Anyway, here's a startup animation and shutdown animation properly scaled for our phone. Just drop them in data/local :)
