I just flashed CM7 RC2 last weekend and it was VERY stable and everything worked, except HDMI. 4G and and a quick signal lock on GPS were the most important things to me. I'm not sure if all that is working as stable in the nightlies.
FullHDMI in the Market offers full HDMI mirroring at $3. It works great even with my cheapo eBay cable (which didn't work with the stock HDMI out feature).
I discovered after trying CM7 (my first AOSP rom) that I'm a true, blue Sense UI type of guy so I switched back to Myn's rather quickly. But CM7 was impressively stable and working on the Evo.
Is it just me or is Gingerbread not that big of a deal? I didn't notice too much that was overwhelmingly different or better than Froyo.

Ok i wanna flash cyanogenmod 7, but I have some questions first is what's the difference between nightly 19 and rc2, and which to flash. And Second which hdpi gapp do I flash?
Thanks in advance.
