Help Some questions....

i got 16gb class 6 from eaby for 1090/- (including shipping and everything)
its quite fast i have done a partition and most of the apps now at my sd card partition using linkto sd and i hope its quite fast too after the tweak
now the mxplayer video file everything is in my sd card and it plays like anything
and i have seen after the tweak if i scroll the video it advances with out 0 sec delay
so i hope the tweak along with class 6 is a nice combination
 
hey one. imp question can CWM insatlled through fastboot or through rom manager can work evn if phone is unrooted? imean can unrooted phone can havr Cwm recovery working??
 
YES!!
Recovery has nothing to do with rooting but when u r doing it with ROM manager app then u will need Root access but not with fastboot mode
 
im getting write speed of 7.8MB/s and read speed of 12.2MB/s
8gb transcend class 4...got from flipkart for 350

....Is this speed okay?
 
hey guys im currently using hybrid v3......i'm using a belkin router for wifi....the wifi signal strength is really veryyyy weak in a70.....i tried wifi in my house wid my frnds samsung galaxy y and i was getting superb speed....but a70 is really sucking in terms of wifi signal strength....the wifi icon shows full signal only when i'm standing next to the router and connection is lost for every 5-10 mins and i need to reconnect again and again which is really annoying..!!

> can this problem be solved by applying some tweak or by changing my rom which gives better signal strength(i hear leandros gives good signal strength) or is this the a70's hardware prob??!!....plz help me out!!

It's because A70 supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g only while galaxy y or most of others supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n...according to me it is a limitation of hardware only.
I m also having wireless router in next room to mine n having just a dot or 1 signal on A70 while other phones supporting b/g/n shows almost full signal..i also checked with mmx a75 which shows almost full or just one less signal...it supports b/g/n...

I don't know if i am correct or not..... U9 has stated in its official site about the software which had wifi problems and bluetooth problems.... as same as we have now but in their Official ROM it has been fixed . I mailed mmx stating this all to which they replied we do not rebrand phones :P lol

Now that's really funny...lol...

EDIT:
Indeed we have bluetooth problem but don't know exactly abt wifi as i thought it would be a hardware-specific limitation.
I downloaded u9 roms so i can grab newer files or reengineer it to use with a70 but the bloody rom is in exe n i m not able to extract contents from it.

Now i won't try anything as i got a scolding from my dad about fiddling with mobile everyday....!! :P now he says when you get back the phone use it 3-4 months n get rid off mmx then and buy a new phone a bit happy and will try to contact a chinese person and tell him if he could provide me the nandroid backup

its easy to extract the system.img and boot.img ..

In Windows, run the ROM's .EXE file till it gets to the first dialog. Stop there but don't close the window yet.
Go to Start->Run and type: %TEMP%
When the folder opens, search for Rom.zip (use the "magnifying glass" Search button)
Copy Rom.zip to your kitchen's original_update folder
 
hmmm...so i think i need to be happy with what im having....i heard that d signal strength is good in leandros rom....so wil changing d rom help d issue atleast to some extent?

I tried it already....it doesn't show any Rom.zip in temp folder
 
Guys... this may sound crazy but I am wondering whether we can make a facebook page as an app so that android users can use it easily through their phones.
 
actually there is no need for such any app as you can simply create a simple web link to "m.facebook.com" and when you click on it you will be redirected to facebook

that is too simple !
 
m unable to download anything literally anythng from dolphin, uc browser or any other browser ... i can only download via opera please help.... I m on hybrid v3......

whenever I try to download a song or video from any other browser except opera.... browser auto closes without any force close error.....and takes me back to home screen directly....... pls help

Try and apply the ultimate Way ! -- Fix permissions :p

Also try changing the website you are downloading the content from :)
There may be compatibility issues with the site and mobile browsers :D
 
I tried fixing permissin aswell but still when i open google.com in dolphin hd and skyfire.... site opens but when try to browse further:(:( it auto closes...no error....pls help

Reinstall helps ?
I mean remove the data of the browsers,
then,
Uninstall then again install ...
