Root Someone explain this

I got a new(er) refurb'd DX. It has the red battery tab, rather than the gold one that came out with the original ones.

Here's the deal. This thing flies and got 250 point higher quadrant out of the box. Now, I don't need a Gnex! ;)

Why the huge difference? VZW wants to keep me on the dx or somphin?

its the fact that is refurbished brand new, and remember, not all 2 phones will be the same, my refurb is just as nice as my previous X but not as snappy, and likes every single rom, whereas the old one, was kinda testy with certain roms

Weird.. it's really smooth and not jerky. Huh.. Maybe my phone was wearing out?

Colchiro... send me a link for the ICS Miui please... I got confused when trying to find it... and I want my GREEN name back... lol (hint, steven)

Oh yeah, one more thing. The speaker is muuuch louder. Maybe I got a lower end performer? Or maybe they jacked up the performance after the first round of complaints?

One things is for sure, perhaps it's best to wait for manufacturers to get kinks worked out before buying? This really confuses me.

I felt like my original DX, with the gold tab, was a much snappier phone software wise. Hardware wise, the red tab phone feels much more solid on the outside. I guess no two phones are built equally.

It's simply that every phone and batch made are different (the same as any hardware). It has NOTHING to do with Motorola working any kinks out.

To tell you the truth, my new refurb dx is running so smoothly, I'm not necessarily in a hurry to buy a new smartphone. Can someone saaaay... Quad core? Hmmm.....

BTW, the Gnex thread has become a mega thread. It took a lot of work, in the beginning, to get it going, but I did. Maybe quad core is the new mega thread. :p

I tell you this. I'm tired, though. It's been quite a ride. I can use a rest!
