Someone please mirror 2.1 after downloading!

just as the title says.....

HTC's site is crashing due to everyone in the world downloading this update. Some please mirror the update for all of us getting shafted!
 
How did you manage to snatch it off the HTC site? I been trying since it was posted there and keep getting a server timeout.
 
Unless it's staring me in the face, I don't see the HTCSync mirrored anywhere. I have the main 2.1 image now (thank you!) but I am blocked since I don't have HTCSync (took over 30 mins to get to 17% off the HTC site). Any chance that could be placed on a mirror site too?

Just mount your USB to your PC and install HTC Sync from there.

I downloaded 2.1 from the mirror in like 1 minute and am booting up right now to 2.1.

I mount the phone, can browse it's card from my PC, etc - but receive no prompt to upgrade.

I do not have HTC SYnc installed on this machine (not sure if your suggestion assumes an upgrade).

No once you mount your USB, you can browse your phone like a USB drive. Go look on your phone for the HTC Sync folder. You can install in it from there. I did the same thing this morning b/c there was no way I could download Sync from HTC :P

You might have to reboot afterwards to sync with your PC. Once you're synced, just double click the .exe you downloaded and run through the few steps and let it go from there.
 
Yup, just 1 file to download, 118mb. Haha just noticed 2.1 differences already. It's raining here and my screen is showing moving rain and just had a wiper blade go across my screen :P
