Someone please mirror 2.1 after downloading!

I downloaded two files ... one is HTC_Sync_2.0.33 and the other is HTC Sprint Hero MR 2.27.651.5

After hooking up my Hero to my computer, which one do I use?

If you've alrady installed Sync and are synced with yoru PC, just run the HTC Sprint Hero MR file.
 
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the mirrored download is exactly the same as the one off the HTC site, just uploaded from a previously downloaded file off HTC's site? Umm, I just confused myself...

Pete99 is this your personal download from HTC's site prior to the server issues?

I downloaded this file straight from HTC this morning. It's directly from them, uploaded to 4share.
 
Thanks Pete99. I should have downloaded earlier when it was first posted. I was looking at 2 to 4 hour download time. It had already time out on me a few times.

Updating my wife's phone right now. Mine is rooted and running Fresh 2.1.1. :D
 
I just downloaded it off Sprint's site directly... they're hosting the file as well because they knew of the influx of updates that would bum rush in. I downloaded off of them, took me 1 1/2 minutes, not bad. I downloaded the Sync software from HTC in about 2 minutes as well, the US mirrors are full, but if you have fast internet... more... 'euro' options are available. ;D
 
I did just check Sprint's site and download time was seven to nine minutes. Much better than the 2 -4 hours from HTC. Still like the mirror site.
 
I am confused here, you say 118 MB but the one on the sprint site says 117 MB and also the one I downloaded from the HTC website was 117MB, am I missing something here????

Just go to Sprint.com or HTC.com the links and Sites are stable - The reports of it crashing were when it was first released.
