Even with the stock earphones. I normally use Bluetooth headphones, even better.
I find the dolby setting the best, srs is good too, and there's an eq setting for rock, pop, jazz etc

Phone speaker isn't that good though, but then what phone speaker is?!

the speakers are awfully quiet =(...even on max...the ringtones are quiet!! =S...use to be able to hear my old phone in other room...with DHD its barely noticeable =_=...but it does sound good with head phones

I found it quite tinny until I put some proper headphones in and then it just rocked!
