Sound Off...When was your Thunderbolt produced?

Ok fellow Android lovers, let's all sound off as to when our beloved Thunderbolts were produced? You can find out by removing the battery cover, and inside the battery cover you should find a date. Also feel free to state any issues you may be having, concerning build quality, and software issues.

Date mine was produced- 12/30/10

Issues with my device-
Power button has become recessed
2 small specs of dust under screen
Volume button not nearly perfect
Stock Battery is unreliable
Subpar call quality & Bluetooth volume is extremely low

Even with these issues, I absolutely have come to love this device!

Sorry if I'm missing something obvious, but I don't see any date inside the battery cover...can you clarify for me exactly where I should be looking? Thanks!

My TB is on the Fedex truck out for delivery today, so when I get it I'll post my date...

Well, it arrived and man what a nice phone. I've only had it for a couple hours and love it already..

Mine says: DT110125 so I'm assuming it is Jan-25-11

There is another number: GR-A110131 - Not sure what this means.

Also, I had No green dot on my box.

Dennis

Date: 01/18/2011

Do have a green dot on my box...

Only real issue is call sound...sometimes it is really hard to hear the person on the other end...

01/14/2011 (green dot too) Mine works great. No problems at all except for tiny pin-size light leak at the bottom. Not a big deal.

I ordered mine last Sunday and received on Weds. The numbers on my battery cover are:
GP-A110212
Smaller print above: DT11.01.20
So whats my date LOL. No green dot and I'm thinking the cover date logic is flawed.

Mine says 1/17/2011 and I didn't get mine from Verizon I got it from Wirefly, no stickers on it, seems to be working pretty good so far, but I really hate all the pre-installed apps on here. Anyone know how to remove them?

I'm new to this OS, but I know what answer you will get, to remove apps you would need to Root the phone. Not quite sure what that means, definitely have NO idea how to do it, but I know people on this forum know...there is a thread about Rooting, but I haven't made it there yet, trying to understand more before learning about that process...

12/28/2010 no issues at all other than light leakage from bottom at angle... Had no green dot. Weird, seems like all the December lot had no green dots so far. They came on later produced models from what I'm reading? You would think the older ones would have them before newer ones.

In the middle of mine it says GP-A110111 ... Are you assuming that is a date? yymmdd?

In smaller print above it it says ST11.01.06 ... wonder if that means anything?

Oh...and mine had the green for on the box...

Issues that I am exchanging this one for a new one being delivered by Verizon via FedEx tomorrow are: SD card keeps un-mounting itself and tell me to insert a SD card when it's already in there...phone randomly turns itself off...and the video sound being low to non-existent when recording videos with the phone (I know this one is a HTC software issue that HTC is going to have to push out a fix for, but listed it in my reason for exchange with Verizon anyway)

I'll post the date from. the inside of the phone after I get it tomorrow, to compare to the dates on the one I received back on the initial release date
