Sound Off...When was your Thunderbolt produced?

Issues that I am exchanging this one for a new one being delivered by Verizon via FedEx tomorrow are: SD card keeps un-mounting itself and tell me to insert a SD card when it's already in there...phone randomly turns itself off...and the video sound being low to non-existent when recording videos with the phone (I know this one is a HTC software issue that HTC is going to have to push out a fix for, but listed it in my reason for exchange with Verizon anyway)

I'll post the date from. the inside of the phone after I get it tomorrow, to compare to the dates on the one I received back on the initial release date

Hmmm...just got my new one from Fedex....should I be worried that it is older than the one I ordered on release date? My new one I just got was made in Dec 2010...why does that bother me? :confused: Oh well...here's crossing my fingers that this new one doesn't start shutting itself off and doesn't start telling me I don't have a SD card installed, etc...wish me luck! :D
 
Doesn't this just tell us when the battery cover was made? How can you be sure a given loose componant like a battery cover had anything to do with the manufacture date of the rest of the phone?

Mine is 1/24/2011. (DT11.01.24)

with GP-A110127 stamped below that.

Yeah box had the green dot with 2 labels one covering the other.
Same software change as described by others.

No issues.... everything works even the headphone jack :D
 
1/25/2011, green dot on the box, same software change as described by the others. No issues except for low Bluetooth volume in noise, but I am not sure if it's the TB or my Bluetooth headset.

I purchased my device via WireFly.
No issues.

@snuggles....the date is printed in a dark ink so it could be pretty hard to see. On mine it's located above the impressed HTC that I can see through the back cover.
 
Update on my new one that I got yesterday...

Green Dot on box.
Date inside battery cover- 1/14/11
Battery serial # ends in 08

So far- Not a single issue, phone is perfect so far, with no build quality or software issues.
Battery is much better then first one as well.

Fingers crossed for everything to stay this way!!!

I saw that you said you were going to buy the bionic on full retail.. Sorry to be Off topic but why would you do that?

Honestly, now that this one is perfect from A to Z, I way hold back. Especially if HTC and VZW push the new version of sense, and Gingerbread to the TB soon.

However...
I'm a tech junkie, so that QHD screen and dual core may be a little hard to pass up. We'll see, as for right now I'm really enjoying my TB.

If they push that new sense out I will be in love.. I sure there will be a rom for it though when the evo 3d comes out

Seriously, if they push the new sense out soon, I can't see myself going to another phone.
Especially if a slim 1750/1800mAh battery hits the scene from either HTC directly or HTC express...

To keep from messing it up, I took a very small flathead screwdriver then inserted into that slot on top... I then twisted to right and left slightly to loosed top... Then just popped it the rest of the way off... Mine was extremely tight also and I have only had it off twice...
