Help SPAM notification in SGS2

Is anyone else getting SPAM notifications in their SGS2, and how do you stop them?

I have started receiving notifications telling me I've won an iPad 2. These are in French, due to my location.
I've also been receiving notifications in German that I have free games apps to download.

Really frustrating!
 
Notifications, as in appearing in the Notification Bar? Sounds like AirPush (or similar) ads - install one of the many AirPush detector apps in Android Market and it will reveal which of your apps is the culprit.

Yes, it's appearing in the notification bar.

I have installed the suggested app and it immediately identified a possible culprit.

Said culprit now deleted! Let's see if that solves it.

I have an issue with messages
Showing up in notification bar that are not
Simply ads. They have the same symbol as
An email yet there is no email. If I go into email
Agent separately or into Yahoo app on its
Own there is no such email?
I have tried air push which says no push apps
And tried several free apps in market to no
Avail.
I use the new ics Swype method to make it disappear
So I don't have to click on it but getting dating and
Or sex offers several times a day is frustrating.

One time I finally in frustration clicked on it to see where
It took me even though with spam you don't want that.
But it didn't take me to a site, it took me to my
Email agent on gs2...but there were no emails at
All ???

Any ideas? Signed....frustrated over spam.
