Help sparadic MMS

Well I guess it's time for my wife's phone start acting a fool. Her messaging only works half the time ? Anybody know why this would start happening out of the blue, any help would be great, hearing her complain is driving me insane lol

If SMS seems to to be ok, and only mms is sporadic, it may imply a sporadic data connection. I'd monitor the data connection as a place to start investigating.

Yea my bad I was still half asleep when I made this post it's SMS & do you think it could be the PRL it's on it's 60685 a sprint prl ?

It's just VM's network. My wife (and at times myself) had this issue. Sometimes I could fix it by booting into recovery and fixing permissions. Other times, there was nothing I could do. I really doubt a prl change will do anything.

Thanks fellas was hoping to be able to fix his being as the wife is complaining about her phone, she's had hers for 5 months now without this issue why all the sudden, I don't doubt that it's VM though lol

Yeah, I doubt it's prl related too, unless you had some weird one that gave you data (evdo) only and no voice calls.
I got that by using an old Alltel prl.

My vote goes to VM also.

Try fixing permissions (in CWM), that may help.

Don't know if this is your problem but whenever I would send long messages, no one would get them. My fix was in messages, go to settings and I just checked where it says sms split and I was able to send long messages.

I am running CM7 g60 style r0.6. When in messaging I hit the left 4 square hard button and it shows 4 options, compose, search, settings and mark all read. I hit settings and it opens up to change messaging settings. Maybe you can only do it with CM7 rom but don't know for sure...... I hope this helps.

Yes, It must only be on CM7 because I am on stock ROM and under the Text Messge(SMS) Settings I only see Deliever Reports.

Whenever it seems like my phone is being stubborn about receiving texts, I just send myself a text either through google voice or just through messaging on my phone. Then I generally get a flood of text messages that should've come in before. Sometimes restarting helps too, as well as toggling airplane mode. It may be different for you though, this happens to me when my signal is poor. Also, if you have wifi you can text with that and it almost never fails. You can use google voice, go sms (really easy and you don't have to change your number, but both people have to have it), texting apps, etc.
