Help Speakerphone when turned over?

I remember reading that the DInc2 speaker is supposed to turn on when the phone is turned over. It took me a while to remember to try that, and now that I have tried it 6 or 7 times without success, is there anyone else out there for whom this feature never works?

It works for me. Go to menu > settings > sound > flip for speaker. Make sure that's checked.

Yes, "Flip for speaker" is checked. Doesn't work for me, though. Anyone else?

I too tried this many times & it did not work.
I discovered that you have to flip it over so that the proximity sensor is covered fully, like lay it face down on a table or on your pants leg, then it will activate the speaker similar to silencing an incoming call.
Try that, hope it helps.

Sure enough, that's what it was - I was just turning it upside down, not placing it on a surface that blocked the sensor.

you said yes it works for me, do you have to fully block the proximity sensor are do you just do a flip?
