As a reminder, tomorrow is 4/1 which is APRIL FOOL'S, so becareful of what you hear and read about anything including the EVO...;)

Those are indeed videos from the EVO 4G. You can tell because in some videos you can clearly hear him giving the demo and how many phones have been showcased with a Qik app for Sprint at CTIA. The quality is extremely disappointing but I hope that's more of a product of Qik the live stream resolution itself.

Yes I agree..but I think* there's a video demo that shows the camera (both still and video) being tested where you can select the resolution and he probably had it set at the lowest setting. Not sure though - could be totally wrong

Sprint has already said you'll be able to live stream with the EVO 4G, but those videos are not 720p. I have a Canon camera that does 720p and those videos are not even close.

Yea that quality is awful. Theres no way they could call that 720p. Must be a qik stream limitation
 
Being that this infamous meeting is set up for tonight after closing the stores, anyone know what time they usually close. I believe here in NYC it at 10PM. (I think), is it the same elsewhere? I'm curious to know if the east coast will have to wait till the west coast closes or if the west coast closes early?

Thanks for the warm welcome. :) I am indeed the same bendispo from the Sprint Forum.

I've really enjoyed keeping up with the android forums here... and think people have been really great at keeping the conversation lively and supportive. :)

I, like most people here, cannot wait to get an EVO!
 
gotcha. so by not just the east coast, does that mean it will be after the west coast locations close also?
