Speed of game apps

Not sure if this is the right forum for asking this but I'll press on.

I got my desire a week or so ago after selling my wildfire which I got as an upgrade. I played a few good games on the wildfire like smiley pops and fruit ninja. I liked both these games so much so when I got my desire I installed them on it too.

I noticed that both games seem so much faster on my desire then on the wildfire. Game play seemed to improve too.

My question is though. If HTC brought out a phone with an even faster processor would games like fruit ninja & smiley pops run too fast or would they run at the same speed as they are meant to run?

They arnt running fast on the Desire, they just lag on the Wildfire. They would run at the correct speed only on a fast phone.

Ok thanks for that. Its just that I have played games on a pc in the past that have played too fast (unplayable) on a high spec pc. Thought it would be the same with mobiles. Strange that smiley pops has lag on the wildfire when its a fairly basic game.
