[SPOILERS] Walking Dead Discussion

Speaking of Coral, when does he do anything again? Seems that since they left the prison he hasn't done anything except carry the baby.

Carl was shot by the Greens. That's how they ended up at the farm. If they follow the books Carl will have a big part of the story arc.

Wasn't able to look at this thread until now, finally caught up to the most recent last night.

I hope they've finally found a safe place, at least for a bit. But I expect they won't be safe for long.

I got lost.... how did they find Eric, the partner of Aaron? It's like they were running from zombies one minute, then the other half of the group finds Eric and they reunite. How? What? How? It doesn't seem like Aaron would leave his partner behind. Maybe I should do the sync episode thingy... never tried it.

Was Rick really going to feed his baby crushed up acorns? lol

Liz, I guess they found Eric by following the flare. They didn't really show it. That wasn't as bad as the previous episode when they were holding the barn doors closed then cut to waking up in the morning. Some people I talked to thought it was all a dream.

Never understood the whole story sync thing or tweeting through a tv show. Why distract yourself from what you're watching? Guess I'm too old...

Acorns are indeed edible! Pretty much if a squirrel can eat it, so can we.

I think, but again I have no idea, that the sync plays during the commercials? Otherwise I don't understand how you could do that much multitasking! I agree, they do often leave gaps where I end up scratching my head. It just didn't make sense that Aaron would leave his partner behind to fend for himself.

Well, I would think if they were a scouting team they would want to leave one guy behind to go back for help in case the contact went wrong and Àaron got captured.

The story sync actually shows commercials at the same time the tv does. During the actual show, it shows random things like what weapons a certain character uses, or a picture of a zombie kill & asks you to rate how bloody it is, or maybe a flashback pic from earlier in the season, etc. It's mostly useless info. in my opinion, & just takes away from focusing on the show.

Cool....enjoy the ride.

So, is Rick still the leader after getting castrated by Michonne lol? I'm not sure I would trust her judgement after the way she wanted to stay at the community where Noah lived. Too desperate to find a place to stop.
Also, when the actress who plays Michonne was on Taking Dead last week, I'm surprised nobody called her on some of the stuff she was saying about her character after the way she left Woodbury and Andrea behind.

Of course Rick is still the leader. Michonne is just tired of traveling and just being lazy. Lol Rick has his kids to look after.... Of course he has to be cautious compared to everyone else.

Well I wasn't being totally serious, but Michonne did basically start a mini mutiny. She decided they were going with, and Glen and others took her side. Rick was reduced to sputtering "fine, Abraham, you go with them". Lol

Haha yeah I know. Rick can only lead them. They're just lucky he doesn't have the Governor mentality.

I forgot to mention this last week. I thought it was sort of funny when they saw the stash of water on the road with the "from a friend" note - everyone was scared to drink it because they thought it might be dangerous? They were all sad/tired/starving/thirsty/etc. & they were actually too afraid to drink the water? I just thought it seemed odd in that situation, you'd think since they pretty much had no hope, they wouldn't even really care if the water was poisoned or something bad, because it would have let them out of their current misery (the only exception I think, would be Rick not wanting harm to come to his kids).

Just seemed weird to me given their supposed mental states that they'd be that concerned some random person would actually be trying to kill them (like seriously, who do they think they are that they'd even think someone might go to the trouble of wasting water to try to kill them off??)

I really liked this episode. I liked all of the psychological aspects, how they were like skittish animals and how they all reacted differently to the new situation. Then the ending was awesome.:)

I loved it when Daryl brought that dead thing in, saying "we brought dinner". That might be the first time I actually laughed out loud while watching an episode.

I do think it was a good episode, nice to see some little things like Rick looking more human again, Daryl's aversion to taking a shower, Carol saying she's going to bring meals to old people or whatever (seems similar to her pre-zombie-killing life but totally out of character to who she is now). Just some interesting stuff in this episode, it'll be interesting to see what happens after a couple episodes. I did shudder a little at Rick's comment at the end, though.

I really loved this episode. Rick's comment in the end was awesome. I love how Daryl is not even feeling this place. A few things that are concerning. One of them being that little girl. She's up to something. Is she a spy? How about those three people who were exiled? Hmmm?

Couple other thoughts from this week - before they walked through the gates the first time, they heard kids laughing, but where are those kids they heard? And lol at them taking weapons away when Rick's crew came in, because Carl sure whipped out a knife pretty fast when he heard a noise upstairs when exploring that house. It just seems like those people pretty much suck at a lot of things in their little town, I can't see Rick & his people hanging out there for too long.

Also wondering if Michonne will be wearing a uniform alongside Rick next week...
