I am confused. Can someone confirm that they must pay a deductible after 30 days if the unit needs to be repaired? In my state that is illegal (and I would be willing to bet federal consumer laws would be in effect as well). This is my understanding. Someone correct me....
Sorry I should clarify, the deductible thorugh Verizon Wireless is if it has to be REPLACED and not just repaired. Best buy will not charge a deductible if it has to be replaced, primarily because you're paying $9.99 a month with their insurance.
I bet if you bring it back now they will replace it. Rebooting is not "normal". I look at it this way. If it rebooted once, maybe I did something wrong. Twice in two days, sorry, bu,bye. Question..... is it getting hot when it reboots? Not meaning while running apps in your pocket, but just sitting in the open. If so, it is defective. Verizon is being quite awesome. It is not worth holding on and then having it melt down 3 months from now.
I bought the phone on the 6th and haven't had any problems with rebooting until today, after mucking around with a few different apps and having it on USB Charge, It has reset randomly about 5 times within the last 2 hours. I think it may be a software complication so I deleted several sketchy applications and use task killer religiously, so far its only happened while charging.
If you're getting random reboots, take it back ASAP! I've had mine for two days and it has not done anything like that.

Well I've had mine for 6 days with absolutely no problems until today so don't count your chickens before they hatch....
Ya. after a solid 8 to 10 hours yesterday, shut the phone off overnight, started it up this AM and 3 reboots in a row... then another in about 10 min.
now fine for the last hour or so (and I'll go out on a limb and bet it will be fine for the rest of the day.)
I went first few days without problems as well. I'm thinking more and more it's app interference.

Do you mind saying what apps you believe were causing the problems? When you did not have any problems did you have the same apps as you do now? Just trying to narrow it down. I am getting a new Droid tomorrow and I plan on not installing anything on it for a week to see how it goes.
