I know it's very early, but considering what's being put in the Htc Rezound/Vigor and what's going on with Sprint's network next year I think there is plenty to be looked into and discussed here.
The Rezound/Vigor is rumored to have 16GB on board storage plus a 32GB sd card, which makes me jealous, and also leads me to believe that they'd do the same thing with the next gen Evo. With 16GB on board and 64GB sd cards on the market now, I'd be ridiculously jolly to rock 80GB in my pocket as a huge music fan and collector.
Considering this wouldn't launch until June they have plenty of time to add something special to their SLCD that they're putting in the Rezound. Maybe a "Plus" or something marketable and attractive, also leading to a possible name: Htc Evo HD.
Also I've read a few things about new LTE chips that AT&T plans to use that supposedly have the 3G also built into it, which saves power? Don't quote me on that and please feel free to clear this up, as I'm pretty new on LTE. Either way I'm hoping the next Evo will be LTE, as they'll be rolling out the network all next year and LTE-Advanced the year following. It would also be kind of neat to have the option to use the WiMax network if you're in an area that doesn't have LTE yet, though I don't know that they'll launch LTE with any of those circumstances in place.
I've read that the next Transformer tablet will have a quad-core processor, which is pretty intense sounding, though I don't know if it's completely necessary. I'd be happy with a higher clocked dual-core, but who knows what the smartphone market will be like by then.
Anyone have any realistic expectations or even anything fun to add here?
