All, for the 5th or 6th time since having my EVO I woke up this AM to find out the clock and location had updated to a different Country. I am in Washington DC, and today my phone was giving me the weather and time for Tokyo Japan. This is a pretty major issue since I have alarms, etc that didn't go off when I expected them to. Each time this has happened the location is half way across the world.
As for my phone settings, I leave GPS on (slight signal inside my house I think), I leave Wi-Fi off almost all of the time, under Settings -> Date and Time I have Automatic (use network provided values), and under Settings -> Location I have Use wireless networks, use GPS Satellites checked. Under Settings -> Location -> Location setting I have it turned ON.
So my first question is, does anyone else run into this problem? My second question is do you guys think its a CDMA time update bug from the Sprint Network, or is it a Android problem with GPS locating?
And finally, are there any known fixes?
