As long as you are eligible for one up and the store has plenty of inventory.

called my local store (not a corporate?). he said he'd have to call me back; didn't know much about it. can't drag a two year old all over the state trying to do this. wish they could do it online.

I'm surprised you can't do it online.

Maybe they'll set it up in the future, hopefully soon.

Sprint is really trying to push self service. You can upgrade on a regular contract online but as for for one up that has to be done in stores. Its the same with the early upgrade option as well. Corporate stores at that.

Change plans? People who want to keep unlimited data guaranteed for life. Do it...I wish they would give us more info on what is coming later.

So I went into a store to get a detailed description of how this program works.
My Current plan
Family - 1500 anytime minutes
unlimited text/data
Shared Plan $110 - 25%(discount) = 110-27.5=82.5
1st Line = $10
2nd Line = $30
3rd Line = $30
4th line = $20

So current plan is $172.5 before taxes and bs fees.

Under Sprints New plan
Guaranteed unlimited everything

1st Line = $80
2nd Line = $70
3rd Line = $60
4th line = $50

$7.5 off for each line(25% off data not plan) = $30 off

$230 before taxes and bs fees

230-172.5= 57.5 difference. Over 12 months this would be a difference $690. This to me is just not worth a guarantee of unlimited data or being able to pay for a phone in installments.

my family 1500 plan would go from $150 to $137. I'll take it. just waiting for one up to work for me (local store never called me back; not a corporate).

edit:actually, i left off the taxes and junk; will wind up being about 19 bucks more/mos

It is only available at corporate. Stores and not yet available in all states

i've been told. i've also been told that that store could do it. then i was told i'd get a call back from that store. i don't hold my breath often when dealing with sprint.

That's not bad! I am still thinking about doing the change so I can do the One Up program.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, the One Up program is only available with My Way and My All In due to the ED and EDS plans being phased out.

Is your family plan just two lines? If so, even with two lines the new plan would cost you $150 before any discounts and taxes/fees.

It would be 150 if you kept unlimited data. If you have access to WiFi, you can do the one gig for 20 and that would drop it

I wouldn't either but there are ppl who do it that have access to WiFi alot. Me personally I use to much data to do that but not all do. So before anybody does that I would hope they speak with Cs and go over there usage so there would be no overage.

very soon

define very.

I've been looking to get in on this, but I'm not driving 75 miles to get to a corp store. Why would it be so hard to implement online? If I have to wait for my upgrade period (first of the year), I might as well jump ship to a carrier with better reception/4G (which has been terrible lately here for some reason).

When this program was announced, Sprint got their hooks in me. Now, their hold is starting to weaken. I may just wiggle out.

That was just a hunch. It is a finance agreement so I am sure there are bugs to iron out on how to accomplish that online.

maybe its just me but i would never drop unlimited to save 10 bucks
Especially with Sprint Sparks coming online in a few areas such as in NYC.
