Root [Sprint] Help please

I Received and date from sprint and mind you my lg g2 is rooted and when i accepted the update the phone has me stuck in fastboot mode. i have tried rebooting it but that just sends me right back

Fastboot mode huh? Ok. Check to see if you can get to either recovery or download mode. Ways to access both are seen here:

If you can get to recovery, you MAY be able to restore a nand backup or flash a rom if there's one on your internal storage assuming that the update didn't wipe it.

If all else fails and you can access download mode, you can then use LG Recovery tools and proper kdz or (.dll + .tot) files to reflash stock. If you get to that point, I would recommend visiting freenode IRC, channel #lg-g2. There are guides and the necessary files for that procedure there along with a helpful bunch of folks to assist. It's tough to type it all out in the forum format because it's such an active, hands on procedure and you may have questions along the way.
