Root [Sprint] [rom] [vectus] gn2 [v0.6] 4.4.2

Downloaded but haven't flashed yet, will later today when I have time. Unfortunately, the latest PA beta build is running awesome so....

So far so good :-) No issues to speak of so far, plasma, ART and Nova launcher makes this nice. Took the advice of the developer and trying out 8sms for my messaging app

Yep I've been using it for a few days now since Textra has issues on 4.3 I may give this ROM a test drive on the weekend. ;)

Andy have you also tried Mazwoz Rom ?? just curious.

I have not tried Mazwoz, I downloaded the latest but have not flashed yet. It's built off of Omni rom if I'm not mistaken and I have tried Omni though.

Might try Bam and cyanfox here soon as well

Ok, you still like this I might flash it tomorrow

I've been running this for the last week or so, no major problems to speak of. I am running with ART enabled so I have had a few random freezes but maybe Dalvik would solve those freezes.

No reboots, just freezes and then a battery pull solves the problem. It only happens in the stock browser and Netflix, no where else

OK, gave up on this Rom, tried 5 times now to install, all goes fine now, but once Google installs the apps, I always get one app that gets stuck on the installation process and doesn't go any further.

Volume on speaker phone is low, the one thing I didn't like about AOSP Roms.

Wish Google would allow to cancel the one app and still install all others, I did do a FR after again, and again got stuck on another app.

Plasma kernel will solve the volume/sound issues.

As far Google installing the apps, again this is why I skip the entire process of setting up the phone at the initial boot up. I'll install some apps from the market myself and I'll also restore some of my apps/data with titanium backup. Don't sign into Google on boot up

Yep I could restore them with RomToolBox, but I wanted to try with Google as I wasn't restoring data anyways. But canceling an app would be great to be able to install others, but I guess would be to easy for Google to allow that.

I'll play with it again next week, 5 times is enough for me today, LOL

Thanks Andy for the info. I will check the Plasma Kernel

Im downloading this now, got to check it out......;)

For the most part, all of the kk roms are in beta form, so silly issues will happen. CM is probably the easiest to set up but it still has a lot of bloatware

By the way, trying cyanfox as we speak ;-)

Do you have a quick link the Plasma Kernel, save me sometime. ;)

Is this the version number you have, plasmakernel_v2-05b0_l900_kk_cm11

I assume according to JLM, you adjust in in Stweaks ??

Worked perfectly........;)

Wonder why I always get an apps the get stuck on install, tomorrow I will restore with RTB, without data. Like I said I wish there was a way to stop the stuck app and still allow for others to install.

Let me know how the kernel goes, and what settings you set it at in Stweaks for sound, speaker volume was really low. ;)

Well on mine I just restart the phone to continue the restore if it gets stuck and the plasma kernel works great so far lol got it OCed to 1920 lol, going to do some playing tonight on it....

So you're saying if and app gets stuck u simply shut phone down and then reboot up and apps start back installing ?
