Root [Sprint] [rom] [vectus] gn2 [v0.6] 4.4.2

Another one I tried a while back was Rocket Dial that was pretty good also

I see everyone went back to their respective TW rom. I think I'm officially done with TW, the extreme slowness of TW in comparison to an ART enabled aosp rom is too much to give up. ;-)

You know the saying, to each his own. LOL :D

I am able to be convinced though ;) I still have it backed up, and if you look at my set up, you would not know it was an AOSP Rom the way I have it setup. But a few things that urk me is, the volume, even though I have it tweak, the speaker volume is still much lower, and I love the TW dialer, there are other dialer's, but not all to my liking.

I like the aosp dialer myself, simple one touch phone calls.

The sound will be an issue for some but I had similar issues with TW roms so not that different for me.

One thing I never see anymore is the loading circles. On TW roms, there sometimes can be a 2-4 second load time for an application to open. It's nearly instant opening of any app that I use.

Like you stated, to each their own though and again, that's why I enjoy having a rooted phone. The choices are usually plentiful although Note 2 development has definitely slowed down. 5 4.3 TW roms with about 10 KK aosp roms.
 
Yep they sure have, but with all the new devices, it's to be expected :(

That hopefully is our saving grace, even my sister's HTC one got KK release, I just updated it for her. ;)

Foe me it doesn't matter as I am still going to be with this device for another year, since I am with Sprint, once the year is done, I am leaving Sprint anyways, then I will have more options ;)

Be careful what you wish for, more devices with a different carrier is definitely intriguing but then Dev support may be less for a phone.

Fortunately, our area has great coverage and with unlimited data, we won't be going anywhere.
 
Yep I know, I switched the wife to AIO 6 months ago and she loves it, coverage is spot on, data faster and much more consistent. And did I say half the price and I'm sure there are many Roms for AT&T. But I hear you but I'm taking the chance ;)
