Root SRS Audio & Apollo for Motion

You must remove this

/system/app/ and remove MusicFX.apk
Including odex file

INSTALL
Download the attached zip and copy the content to /system/ with correct permissions

Okay, please try and clarify. You DO NOT delete system/app, that is baaad news. You delete audio fx and its odex.

This is a flash package? You're so jacked, bro. This is going in the guide. :D

That's what it says in the x.d.a post. Also make sure you have no 3rd party audio players installed.

Don't forget to back up. I haven't tested this yet personally...

(Edit) works beautifly with Apollo, uber and play music.
 
You can flash it but it worked for me better by doing it manually

How do I get to this SRS panel? I don't see any app for it and when I press equalizer in Apollo it crashes. I installed by copying /system/ by the way

If you didn't flash it then simply extract it and change permissions go to system/app/SRSpanel.apk

Mind if I ask what type of headphones y'all are using?

I've got the skull candy aviators and when using the SRS bass effect the sound becomes garbled a little
 
Isn't this the same as the Bass boost and 3D effect options on the Play Music app? if not what are the differences?

I thinks its the same, just named diff.
 
Has anyone tried dsp manager....is it compatible with our device? if no one has tried let me know because im desperate to make this thing louder(the volume blows on car stereo) and will test out after doing some research on xda lol.

btw i tried this thing and its decent, but it wont work with power amp and i dont like any other music player. i tried almost every player mention in this thread and i am dissatisfied with every single one of them(the ones i used).

DSP manager didn't work for me. I've tried many equalizers and none have an effect. I'm not sure what it is. So I guess the power amp equalizer is all I have
