Help St. Pete, Clearwater, Largo issue or larger?

For the past couple of hours, I have no 3G on both of my Incredible and Eris.

Reboots and battery pulls have not solved the issue on either phone.

Anyone else experiencing 3G network outages in the Clearwater/Largo area?

Sitting in the Bank of America building in Downtown Clearwater. I have 3G coverage with full bars.

I had this same issue 2 days ago in the South Hills, PA area. It was really pissing me off!

I remember some time last year they did an update to their network and some people reported rolling data outages for a few days. Could be something similar going on now.

I got married on the beach in front of the Sharaton Sand Key.

The tower near Sand Key seems to have been the issue, actually...

Based on "my location" in maps (using the network rather than GPS to determine location) It looks like Verizon deactivated the tower I was using.

This cleared up the 3G problem, but now I have zero to one bar reception. This is killing the battery on the phone, and during a storm last night we had several dropped calls....
