How do you change the boot up of the ascend

believe it has to be rooted, but not 100% on that, and will need a app that allows you to explorer the root of the phone. I used AndRootFile to get to /system/media, thats where your bootanimation.zip will go.

yup, once you place a bootstrapanimation.zip in that directory thats what will boot.

Worked prefectly. I used root explorer and got the new Sony Ericson boot up. Now only if i can get audio :/

same directory, should see a audio directory, find the boot audio you want n name it bootStrapSound.oog in place it in the audio directory.

I extracted the files but doesn't seem it has a audio
