Root Started rooting today, have a noob question

I'm reading the "ROOTing for Dummies" post and I've gotten to Section 3 Option 2 (Rom Manager). It says that once I flash the Clockwork Recovery, you will permanently lose the Stock Recovery. Is this a bad thing? What if I want to revert back to stock?

No its a good thing. Without it you cant make back ups and the like. You can always go back to stock by flashing the s-on tool and then running the ruu. There is info on unrooting in the dummy guide also.
