Root Starting to compile CM9.

I will start listing the step as i go along when compiling CM9 for our phone. So it will be updated when i successfully fixed a error etc. Wish my luck lol.

@ghost-rider, I saw your PM...what questions you have on compiling? I believe my ics branch on git should give you a complete build.
The kernel is a different story...the touchscreen with my GB kernel works for the MS, but my ics kernel doesn't. It's basically the same kernel, except I upgraded it from 2.6.32.9 to 2.6.35.10 and backport some stuff from 3.0.8

@BobZhome I tried building the ics_camera_ms and would not boot......
So I built ics_camera and booted fine and same errors with trebuchet, but it doesn't build synaptics touchscreen. It wants to use mcs6000 touchscreen..

I have a gmail for every android version
I have different apps and configuration for each version, so I use different gmails to keep things straight. So my gmail is no good, because I'm always flashing and testing different roms. Beside, I only use gmail to back up the rom...I never use them and/or check them.

if you have a cm9 rom for ms690 can i get it so i cause start using the kernel cause im using tripdocs regular ICS and i don't think he added the LEGACY_TOUCHSCREEN

@ghost you could flash a CM9 rom from OV. If it boots, it will boot on an MS690, if touchscreen works on the OV CM9 on our OMs, it will work with an OM CM9 rom. Just make sure you flash kernel directly after OV CM9.

This will not work.....
Cm9 either needs ics kernel
Or a highly modded gb kernel.....
