Root Starting to compile CM9.

No your correct. Touchscreens require different drivers which cause different touch expression. Only way to probably get this working is doing a logcat and see what is going on during the touch. :)

This will not work.....
Cm9 either needs ics kernel
Or a highly modded gb kernel.....

I said to flash OV rom and OM kernel directly after....it will work. Try with backside...flash OV backside and then OM kernel (that is known to work) touchscreen will work.

@Johnny you have to do it vice versa since you are running an OptiS....

cm9 would be cool. I'm still trying to figure out how to get rid of data throttling in bobz's cm7.2.0 rc1 :( I'm a noob but trying to learn :)

I just figure cm10 wont boot. I need a cm9 build for our phone. Cause I tried reppards like we did with stock ics. But it doesn't boot.

Also I built BobZ new ICS MS690 branch today, it is booting fine for me (there was an edit 19 hours ago). No touchscreen though. Gonna try stuff.

Edit @Bob, I am getting the buttons staying lit up while plugged in just like the VM670 kernel.....

(Sigh) flash it like how you flash gapps. the one for cm7 is in OP...

I got it :) it's flashed. Originally I had the WRONG file and that's why it wouldn't flash :) I found the "CM7 Data throttle be gone.zip" shortly after writing that.. It worked good.

K cause I'm going to try the official thuderc gingerbread kernel cause it has the driver need for touchscreen. Just hope it works
