Root status bar icon colots

I've searched the web with no real luck. I'm running mikg v3.11 and would like to change the status bar icon colors from white to something else without flashing a theme. I did find an option with color packs from the auto-wired theme post on mikg forums. Im not sure if those will work without flashing the theme.
Can this be done or am I stuck with white icons unless I flash a theme? Thanks for Tue input.

any changes you wish to make will need to be flashed. the packages that are needed to change are system packages and there for tied together. Flashing is the only way to really change them. You can read up a bit on themeing and try to create something yourself. A good start is the kitchen you can change a bit of things and then flash them.

I'm not opposed to flashing. I just don't want to flash a full theme for a small change. I like the slate skin, just wish I could change the status bar icon colors. I'm sure tjere has to be a mod or way out there.

dont quote me on this...I am running the auto wired theme. I am pretty sure he made the mini themes stand alone from the theme, so you should be able to just flash the color pack. it will show up in miktweaks. also check out the clear rosie..very crisp and clean looking!
