Root Step by step Root walkthrough for Huawei Fusion 2

shagerty that wouldn't work -.- you can't make a recovery without root lol what you need to do is go into super user and click full unroot*


*I am not responsible for any bricked devices
 
Probably the cm7.2 release with all.the support that's going to be needed I will be a member at least ;) if they need help that is
 
hey everyone,

I'm new to the rooting scene, whenever i click on run me the cmd prompt pops up really quick and then disappears. (how do i get the cmd propmt to stay?) also i couldn't save the dropbox links, i had to open winzip to download the zip files, is that normal?

edit:am i missing something, where do I type "fastboot devices"

Sent you a PM. Yay for another Mac user! Setup ADB, it'll be much easier. I sent you some instructions with a suggestion of where to put it and setting up the path so you can run it from anywhere.

Thanks for the pm and the reply, i'm still confused, does anyone know where i type "fastboot" in the prompt, for me the cmd line comes up really quick and disappear, i'm on bootcamp win 7.

You're supposed to disconnect your device, and then do the combination that makes it freeze on the AT&T logo, then reconnect it and then run fastboot in the Terminal.

Does the cmd window disappear quickly when you open the Start Menu and type cmd then press enter?

Yeah i get putting the phone in fastboot part. Do I open the command line manually by typing CMD or do it when you click RUN ME? The RUN ME part just disappears after I click it.

You're supposed to just click the RUN ME.

I was asking about cmd from the Start Menu only to check there was not a problem with the cmd terminal.

Idk why it's just disappearing like that.

It's might be that I'm on a Mac (bootcamp). Something about the path not being setup.
