I'll try that. This is the very same download that I used with the other ROM and it did work though. But I'll try redownloading it and seeing if it makes any difference.

yeah definitely strange could have been a bad transfer. Ofcourse I have had hard disk that I've bought last a week before getting corrupt. Never had a problem exchanging them.

Apparently, Synergy is not in his list of supported ROMs for DarkTremors.

However, the last ROM that I used isn't listed here nor is CM7 and CM7 is definitely one of the ROMs that is supported.

don't think he's updated in a while. Most ROMS will tell you if they support dt's a2sd though. So check synergy and see if its mentioned if not then probably no dice.

Synergy has the CM a2sd included, so the S2E app should help to configure it. Either that, or you could look for the thread on XDA from the guy that has a DT a2sd version just for Synergy that disable the CM version.
