OK, after reading that article, I'm now convinced that the Droid Incredible is the Bravo. It's basically the same phone as the Nexus One, except for these things.

1) Physical buttons (Thank God! Much more reliable than touch buttons) Touch buttons are like Sex Panther cologne; "60% of the time it works every time."

2) Optical track pad. I personally think it LOOKS way better, and if it's just as accurate as a track ball and it's pretty much flush with the phone, it'd be nice to have in case you ever needed it, without really disturbing the looks and physical appearance/function of the phone.

3) HTC Sense UI. Oh yes...the gorgeous user interface that we've all been wanting to see on a 3.7 inch screen. Nothing really much to say here...this one speaks for itself.

So...is it a lot like the Nexus One? Yes, I can see where you'd say that, but just these three simple changes (and I'm sure they'll be more and maybe even some I've missed) make it SO much of a better user experience, that I think it could be the INCREDIBLE phone that all of us here have been waiting for. Sure, there is a good chance that the Droid Incredible, if that's even what it's called eventually, won't be this phone or even resemble it, but for now, I'm confident and at least we now have a picture and can rule out a lot of theories and only focus on the ones that are now confirmed due to this new picture.

@Nash...what are you going to do if the reports are confirmed that it's going to T-Mo?

It IS going to TMobile, in Europe/UK. The brochures have said that all along, and the site that says that it's going to TMobile, is correct. You have to take it in context though, those sites that are saying TMobile are correct, but they're refering to TMobile Europe/UK. There's no way that this phone is going to be yet ANOTHER GSM exclusive for TMobile in the U.S., and especially not after the Nexus One only sold 20,000 units the first week and has been riddled with problems from day one.

My prediction (as has been others in the tech community in the past couple of months) is that this phone WILL be released on TMobile, but we're talking about TMobile Europe. And it will hit Verizon as the Droid Incredible with some minor physical/cosmetic changes to make it "unique" to Verizon. That's my prediction. Regardless, Verizon is going to be getting an HTC device with a Snapdragon processor, HTC Sense UI and a 3.7" screen. It's just a matter of "when."

Here we goooooooo!

Rep: Hello. Thank you for visiting our chat service. May I help you with your order today?
Jason: I want to upgrade to a smart phone but i have some questions
Rep: I'd be happy to help you with that.
Jason: I am looking for a HTC phone that I saw on the internet called something like the passion or the incredible. I don't see that available
Rep: The only HTC phones we have is the HTC Ozone, Touch Pro2, and the HTC Droid Eris.
Jason: Oh when I called about new plans a verzion rep told me that a new HTC phone would be available in February
Rep: Unfortunately, I do not have access to future phone releases.
Jason: OK
Rep: No problem.
Jason: Then I guess, I'll have to wait to ask the other questions
Jason: I thought maybe I missed something on the website
Rep: No problem. Is there anything else I can assist you with today?
Jason: no thank you for your time
Rep: Thank you for visiting Verizon Wireless, I look forward to speaking with you again. Have a great day!

I just feel like these reps don't have all the tools to handle advanced customer questions. If they cared about my business they would have tried to convince me something was going to happen. Instead they could have lost $200 for the phone, $70 / month for the plan, and $30 / month for smart phone. How is this good business. What if I now opt for a regular phone without a data plan?
JMKosmo, if I were talking with a rep I would start with asking her a prelimanary question before you enter the "FUture phone" topic. I would ask her what the deal is with the increased cancellation fee. Something to let her know you are more so on the level, you know? Tell her you inveted an elixer that will produce fountain of youth affects if she helps you out with the future phone topic..... Then let me know how it went with THAT

im not really following the incredible, when that phone is launched WITH THE INCREDIBLE NAME, then i can say im wrong, my contact said, that doesnt exsist, and i said i couldnt imagine a phone being launched with that name, but anyway lets keep this forum on the bravo, thats all we should be focusing on, not crappy photoshop pictures, and if there was some creativity in the photoshop pics, you would of put a bravo/passion by the curtain, but missed oppertunity there i guess,

nashdroid the incredible doesn't exist just ask newsradio.. HAHA

What is the number below the back arrow and magnify glass? Looks like a serial number!

Definitely looks like a serial number, i was looking at the same thing. And what about when we compare and contrast the original picture to todays..they are identical..I'm only skeptical about the red dotted lights on the top, but that's due to the perspective of the photograph.

Maybe my friend at verizon was right when he said we should here something around the week of the Superbowl. I had posted this earlier hope he is right.

@Nash

you're wrong man...the incredible doesn't exist...that picture isn't real...there's no kickstand duh. I think you crafted your own phone by hand and posted pics to make us think its the real thing. You're being sneaky and I won't listen to you anymore...it's a conspiracy!!

Or D) He'll admit the incredible is a real phone and thats what he has seen but was given a european launch date.
My Guess is the Incredible is the Verizon version of the Bravo. Too bad the pics of the bravo dont show the back.

Which look do you like more? What I have done is put a link of the product brochure for T-Mobile UK and the leaked info from ai.rs blog. They each call the phone the bravo but each has different look. The recent leaked photo of the phone looks like the ai.rs blog

I dont think they are different looks. Just one is washed out due to crappy scanning of the page. But I'd take the Ai.rs

I'm getting so tired of waiting. Getting a phone through Verizon any more is like being in an episode of the X-Files. Where are the Lone Gunmen when you need them?

First of all, THAT is hilarious! Secondly, this whole thing just keeps getting funnier and funnier to me! Where are all of the guys that were telling me I was "being too hard" on newsradio? Well...guess what? I work in the music industry and I hear "bullshit" all the time from people. I'm talking about people lying right to my face with a straight face. I've learned to see right through it and I can tell when someone is full of it. When people keep and keep and keep putting off providing real proof and then couple that with deleting all of their posts and other strange behavior, you have to call "bullshit." Otherwise, we all look like dopes and like we've been had. I, and a few others, can sit here with our heads held high and know that we didn't let ourselves be manipulated.

Honestly though, it's nothing against newsradio. He's just some guy with a computer. I don't have any hard feelings against him or anyone, for that matter. I just hope a lot of people learned a lesson here, maybe the hard way, about just blindly having faith in someone when they've offered up no proof. The only person I have blind faith in is God, everyone else must offer up "solid evidence." That's just the way it has to be.

Yeah, I'd say all of those phones are pretty much the same. And the answer is, I love it! I really do hope this phone makes it out in the U.S. with the physical buttons on the front. I don't want to hassle with mispressing some touch sensitive buttons (like the Nexus One, Droid, and Eris have) on a regular basis. That would get annoying, and the only way to fix the problem is to have regular, reliable, physical buttons.

not really. They just had a big release in November with the Droid and Droid Eris. We're only 2 or so months removed from that. At the end of March it will be 4 months or so and the N1 will be available if not also the Incredible.
Have any of the other big companies been turning out high class phone quicker?
