Still Confident Bravo is coming to Verizon

it had to. without the phone would be sooo bad. they expected you to keep a stylus hanging from the phone looking like a eyeliner case...oh i cant wait to turn this thing off lol
 
I know. I just had to keep it in the box. Anyway, enough rant about this.

Newsradio, when are you going to tell us the release dates???!

Edit:So you are saying that it will have capacative (sp?) buttons?
 
I have been trolling this forum for quite a while and finally decided to register. I am eligible for my upgrade in april (will be leaving ATT and coming to verizon). I must say if everything newsradio has said is true with the looks of the touch hd and the specs from the spec sheet, I do believe this will be my next phone. I have been waiting for a really nice HTC phone with a high res screen and sense :)
 
Really, just say it is on Verizon.
However, I wouldn't mind:
  • Physical Buttons
  • The look of the European Bravo
  • DRM file compatibility
  • Android 2.1
  • HTC Sense w/ native multitouch

true true, at least I'm not in the same boat as some who can upgrade now and are eagerly waiting. I gotta wait regardless of whether it comes out tomorrow or in 2 months...
 
Yes. I have that exact conflict. Should I renew my contact on the 22nd and wait, or switch to the carrier that is getting the Bravo? lol
 
Guys (and gals) ... I too have been following along for a while. I have a question.

I know we're not 100% sure, but is the leading info saying this phone will look like the phone in Ruben's name?

Or is it this one that was talked about in the last few days and someone mentioned it because of the red backing and that guy who wrote that he played with one in a dark room.

I guess I'm just trying to say that if you Google search "Bravo" you get pics of your avatar. If you search "Passion" you get your avatar and the Nexus One ... and if you search "Incredible" you get pics of the HTC HD2.

So it's hard to get an understanding of what to expect.

I REALLY like the phone in Ruben's avatar. That, looks wise, is the perfect phone. And if it has the specs of the N1 ... bye bye Storm.

Yes. The looks on "my avatar" are amazing. It also has a 1GHz snapdragon processor. Do I need to go on?

Anyway, I don't suggest you get the ERIS. I had the ERIS for 20 days and it was a great phone, but there was unbelievable lag on the keyboard. You could barely type with it; especially in the web browser. After typing two words it would turn of auto correct to catch up so it was a nightmare. I thought this was a specific my phone thing, but it was even on the VZW demo.

Thanks for the advise, Ruben. I've used the Eris in the wild as a guy at work has one and it seems ok, but he's only had it for a week. Who know what it will do after he loads it with apps.

I guess what I'm saying is that I think the form factor of the Eris is perfect. I just wish it had some beef to it. Which is what we might get soon.

He pretty much did tell us the release timeframe earlier today and then deleted it, yet again for some unknown reason. Nothing special. He said he expected it to be the same here as over there. March/April.
