Help Stock Ally, wifi does not work...

wikid_one

Lurker
I have a stock Ally and cannot connect to my wifi. At one time it worked, but I haven't needed it for a while. I went to use it today and all it does is fails and says "error" in the settings.

I do not have any networks configured in the settings, and have not connected to any since doing a factory reset. I played around with using a couple of ROMS and messed up my phone so I had to flash back to stock.

Is there any way to debug this to find out what the problem is with my phone? Should I assume it is time to start looking at a Droid3? :D

Try flashing back to stock with the LGNPST guide

I have already done that. It worked before I installed the custom rooms, both rooted and stock (using super one click). I do not remember trying it with the custom roms. I messed stuff up with the custom ROMS that I had to restore everythign to factory. The only method I could get to work was LGNPST. I have been running back on the stock setup for about a month now and just got around to needing to use wifi (we have weak signal at my new job).
