Root Stock gingerbread port for the ascend

So I just wanna pose this question to the devs, will there ever be a stock gingerbread port for the ascend? Is it even possible?

it wont be possible because the ascend it just a bad phone that they aint willing to dedicate time to it

for there to be a stock GB for the ascend Huawei/Metro would have to develop GB for the Ascend, which isnt gonna happen. We all were lucky they did a 2.2 update for the ascend. Would be good if they did tho because it would help with CM7-Ascend.

Thanks for answering my question. had a feeling that was gonna be the answer. anyways new question for u playful, is there anyway possible u could add notification bar widgets, like the ones in cm6 and 7, to playfulmod 1.0 or would u have to go full on rom for that one?

would need src code to make it work right. PM is just a cooked/modded Metro update, not much can be done with it.
