So after playing around in System/App I discovered you can disable the HTC Lockscreen and use the Jelly Bean stock lockscreen
Using a file explorer go to your Root directory Navigate to System/App and rename HtcLockscreen.apk to htclockscreen.apk.bak and reboot.
This can work on ics or jb, I have jb.
